ABOUT

I'm soarer (yes, all lowercase). I'm a Canadian artist, vocalist, and animator and I have lived all over the country. It's nice to meet you!

I first debuted as a VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) in July 2022. I had my 2.0 Twitch debut in October 2023, and now stream three times a week!

Art

I have been drawing (seriously) for 14 years, and drawing digitally for 10 years. I am experienced in Clip Studio Paint, Paint Tool Sai, Photoshop, GIMP, FireAlpaca, Medibang, and Krita. I graduated from Vancouver Film School for Classical Animation. I am currently working professionally as a 2D compositor, along with providing all of the services I offer here.

Music

I have been singing my entire life, but started doing youtaite work two years ago. I like singing high energy electronic songs and rock songs. I can sing in English and Japanese. I can also tune and mix! I enjoy doing both and often do them for my own covers. My vocal range is D3-F5 (alto-mezzo).

Why "soarer"?

A few reasons...
"Soarer" is a model of Japanese Toyota. It also kind of sounds like "sora", Japanese for "sky". The sky is for soaring in!
I also just like fluffy clouds, and not only the daytime sky, but nighttime too.
